Although this information isn't legally binding, like your completed Will or Trust documents, it's very common to leave a separate letter with your Estate Plan that clearly states your last words and/or intentions. This is often called an Ethical Will or Goodbye Letter.
You can express things like:
- Past memories or experiences
- Advice for your loved ones
- Final sentiments to your loved ones
- Music, poetry, photos, art, etc.
- Values and traditions
You can add final words or a letter to loved ones digitally through our Document Upload feature. Your digital executor will have access to this once you pass.
