We know notices about updated Terms of Service can sometimes feel a little confusing — so we want to make everything as clear and transparent as possible.
At Trust & Will, your privacy, security, and confidence matter deeply to us. That’s why we recently updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to better explain how we use modern technology, protect your information, and clearly communicate what you can expect as a member.
Why Did I Receive an Update Notice?
We’re legally required to notify all users whenever we update our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy. Even if the updates don’t change anything about how you personally use Trust & Will, you’ll still receive the notice — it’s part of our commitment to transparency.
What’s New: Use of Modern Technology (Including AI)
Some updates explain how we responsibly use advanced technology — including Artificial Intelligence (AI) — to make your experience smoother and more helpful. This may include things like:
- Improving support responses from the Estate Assistant and “Grace”
- Making product recommendations more intuitive
- Helping streamline your estate planning process
Rest assured, your personal information continues to be protected with industry-leading privacy and security standards.
Please keep in mind that these features are intended to support—not replace—legal advice, and outcomes are provided “as is.”
Clearer Information on How We Share Data
We also clarified how certain information may be shared with trusted partners or affiliates when needed to support your plan or provide services. Your privacy and data security remain a priority. We never sell your personal data, and we remain committed to giving you full visibility into how your information is used. Lastly, you can always opt out of marketing, tracking, or targeted advertising and still use our core services.
Subscription Renewal Transparency
To help make things clearer for members with active subscriptions, we also updated our language around billing renewals. That means:
- You’ll always know when a renewal charge is coming
- No surprises or hidden fees
- Clear visibility into your membership benefits and billing cycle
- Easy cancellation if needed
