Most notaries in your area can notarize your documents! Although notarization is not included in your Trust & Will Estate Plan, we've gathered a few resources that can help you locate a notary:
Notarization services may also be available at your local bank and credit union (and are often free for customers). However, some banks and credit unions have policies against notarizing Estate Planning documents, so it's always best to call ahead and make sure.
 
Please keep in mind that you'll need two witnesses 18 years or older to sign your documents. Witnesses can be anyone not related to you or mentioned in your documents. If you're having trouble finding two witnesses, it's common to ask employees or other customers to sign wherever you choose to notarize your documents. We recommend contacting the location prior to showing up as some may require an appointment!
 
Once you have your notarized documents, don't forget to mark your Estate Plan as signed in your Trust & Will account.
