If you notice a misspelling, typo, or other small error (such as a name, address, asset, or account detail), you can usually correct it directly in your account at any time.
How to Fix a Typo
- Log in to your Trust & Will account
- Return to the questionnaire where you originally entered the information
- Update the name, word, or detail that needs correcting
- Click Save & Continue at the bottom of the page
- Exit the questionnaire and return to your documents
Your documents will regenerate automatically, and you’ll see the updated version in your Documents list immediately.
Good to Know
- You don’t need an attorney to fix simple typos or spelling errors
- Edits can be made anytime before or after your documents are created
- Just keep in mind that if you have already signed and notarized them, you will need to redo this process so that the updated documents are valid.
- This applies to names, addresses, assets, beneficiaries, and more
