Is Trust & Will legal in all 50 states of of the United States?
Yes! We provide legally valid Estate Plan documents in all 50 states. However, it's important to note that Trust documents are not available in the state of Louisiana due to specific state laws.
Are Estate Plan documents state-specific?
Every plan we offer is designed to be state-specific! We offer state-specific Will-based plans in all 50 states and state-specific Trust-based plans in all states, except Louisiana.
Which state do I select if I spend time in more than one state?
Choose the primary state of your domicile. Your domicile is typically the place you spend the most time, but may be a different state if you split time due to work, medical needs, or another necessity.
Can I use Trust & Will if I live in territories of the United States?
Trust & Will does not currently offer plans that cover residents of these Territories of the United States: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Atoll, Navassa Island, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island.
Is Trust & Will available in Canada or other countries outside of the US?
Currently, Trust & Will services are only available to residents of the United States. Although we'd like to expand internationally in the future, international services are not yet available.
