How to Add Documents for Your Spouse

After purchasing spousal documents and logging into your account:

  1. Once logged in, click Estate Plan from the menu bar on the left side of the page and select your Designation Summary tab at the top.
  2. Find the 'Basics' section on this page.
  3. Click your spouse's name listed under the "Married to" section.
  4. Click on Save & Continue until you reach the question: "Do you want to create Wills for both you and [spouse's name]?"
  5. Click "Yes". If you have not yet purchased spousal documents, you will be prompted to here.
  6. Go back and review each question, answering from your spouse's perspective when creating documents on their behalf.
  7. Remember to click Save & Continue after each answer to ensure your changes are saved.

You can always add estate plan documents for your spouse through your account. If you have not yet purchased spousal documents, you must do this first:

  1. Click My account
  2. Click Profile & settings
  3. Scroll down to the 'Add-ons' section
  4. Click Add spousal documents, then complete your purchase
