How to Change or Cancel Your Membership/Subscription

You can see the status of your ability to make updates to your documents, purchase another year of updates, and cancel or change your current membership/subscription in the "Membership" section on the Profile & Settings page.

Legacy Memberships: Basic & Plus

To downgrade from the Plus membership to the Basic membership, follow these instructions after signing into your account:

  1. Click My Account in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click Profile & settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Scroll down until you see the "Membership" section, then click "Manage".
  4. You'll see the option to switch to the Basic membership (free) or keep your current Plus membership for the yearly renewal fee.
  5. If you are sure you would like to downgrade to the Basic membership (cancel your Plus membership), click on "Select Basic". At the end of your current billing cycle, your membership will not auto-renew and will downgrade to the Basic membership.
  6. You will lose the features included in the Plus membership, but keep in mind you can upgrade back to a membership in the future if needed.

 

Essentials Membership

To cancel the Essentials membership, follow these instructions after signing into your account:

  1. Click My Account in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click Profile & settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Scroll down until you see the "Membership" section, then click "Manage".
  4. You'll see the option to upgrade to the Pro membership, keep your current Essentials membership for the yearly renewal fee, or cancel your membership.
  5. If you are sure you would like to cancel your membership, click on "Looking to cancel your membership?" at the bottom of the screen.

  6. Confirm the cancellation by clicking "Yes, cancel" on the next screen. At the end of your current billing cycle, your membership will not auto-renew and will be canceled.
  7. You will lose the features included in the Essentials membership, but keep in mind you can upgrade back to a membership in the future if needed.
