The Trust & Will Estate Assistant is available to all advisors directly within the Advisor Portal — no upgrade required. Whether you're preparing for a client meeting or reviewing a plan at your desk, the Estate Assistant is there to help you get quick, accurate answers without digging through documentation or waiting for support.

What can I ask the Estate Assistant?

The Estate Assistant is designed to help advisors with a wide range of questions, including:

  • Specific questions about a client's estate plan (once they've granted you access)
  • How Trust & Will products and features work
  • Common estate planning concepts and client-facing explanations
  • Step-by-step guidance for navigating the Advisor Portal

Where do I find the Estate Assistant?

The Estate Assistant is accessible directly from your Advisor Portal. Look for the Estate Assistant icon or button in the navigation menu. Click to open a chat window, type your question, and receive an instant response.

Is the Estate Assistant available to all advisors?

Yes — the Estate Assistant is included for all advisors, whether you're on the Basic (Referral) plan or a Premium subscription. There is no upgrade required to access it.

Does the Estate Assistant have access to my clients' information?

The Estate Assistant can only reference client information that your clients have already shared with you through the portal. It does not access or expose information outside of your existing permissions.

Can my clients use the Estate Assistant too?

Yes. The Estate Assistant is also available to your clients within their Trust & Will account at no additional cost. They can use it to understand their estate plan, get answers about their documents, and navigate next steps.
